I went on an adventure to Morocco and climbed a big mountain called Mount Toubkal, which is the highest one in North Africa. I asked for help from Mirage Tours, because they are known for being good at helping people. Climbing the mountain was really cool and I want to share it with you later.
Day 1: Marrakech to Imlil
I went on an adventure in a busy city called Marrakech. Mirage Tours team was really nice to me and helped me with everything. I got to explore the city and get ready for the trip. The next day, we went to a pretty village called Imlil to start our journey in the High Atlas Mountains.
Day 2: Trekking through Berber Villages
We started our trek after eating a delicious breakfast made by Berber people. My guide, Mohammed, was very experienced and helped me a lot. We walked through the fields and villages where Berber people lived and saw their beautiful culture. Berber people were very kind and welcoming, which made me feel very happy.
Day 3: Reaching the Toubkal Refuge
We went hiking all day in beautiful places with rocks, and finally got to the Toubkal Refuge. It was really high up and warm, and we all rested there until dinner. During dinner, we talked a lot about how we were excited for the next day when we would climb to the top.
Day 4: Summiting Mount Toubkal
We had to wake up very early on summit day and the air was cold as we climbed up under a lot of stars. Mirage Tours had given us good equipment and a good plan for the day. The last bit of the climb to the top was hard work, but when the sun started to come up over the High Atlas mountains, I felt really good. I was very happy to have achieved my dream of standing on the roof of North Africa.
Day 5: Descending with Gratitude
I was walking down the mountain after reaching the top. I thought about the trip I had just completed. Mustapha and the people at Mirage Tours made sure we were safe and taught us a lot about the area. When I saw the mountain behind me, I was thankful for the journey and the amazing team that helped us.
